Hello,
Here are the minutes of the call. The next call will be in one
week, October 25th at 2pm CET.
- We discussed some analysis updates - analysis seems to be
progressing quite fast now and many things are finished or close
to finished, as they should by now.
- Thomas presented RNA editing analyses. We have 113 cases where
known RNA editing sites show editing in our data using very
stringent criteria. 11 of these show significant population
differences. Tuuli has the data and will do QTL analysis on the
proportion of editing.
- Tuuli presented allele-specific splicing analyses. ASAS appears
to be as common as ASE and we can assess that for thousands of
sites per individual. ASE and ASAS signals are commonly shared,
suggesting that transcript structure variation is major
contributor to ASE signal.
- We continued with a QC subgroup call and went through Peter's
outline of figures for the QC companion. Most of the analysis is
done, and Peter will put together a todo list of the remaining
action items.
best,
Tuuli
