Subject: GEUVADIS QC paper submitted
Dear all
I just submitted the revised version of the QC paper. Attached the most important files.
An important last minute addition, with possible consequences for current sequencing
practice in our laboratories, is the relatively poor representation of exons with >65%
in laboratories CNAG, MPIMG, and HMGU (Suppl Figure 6B). This is likely an effect of
thermocyclers with high ramp speed, which are actually too fast for proper melting of high
GC products. See also Aird et al. Genome Biol 2011.
Thank you very much for all your contributions and let’s hope for the best
Best wishes
Peter
