Dear participants of the Chromosomes Meeting and/or Workshop,
First of all, thank you very much for your patience.
We would like to ask you to pay your registration fees online, following the next link and before 31 August:

Important: you have to use the same email address you used in the application form (= the same email address where you receive this email).
The registration fee includes participation in the Meeting and/or Workshop, coffee breaks and lunches served during the event. Accommodation is not included in the registration fee (you have to make your own accommodation and travel arrangements, when necessary).
We are working out the schedule and we will send it in the next days.

Practical information
· Aerobus (bus El Prat Airport – Barcelona):
This special service is clearly signposted at the stops outside the terminals and it takes you to different parts of the city (price: 5,30€). Plaça Catalunya stop is the closest to the venue, but you’ll also need to take the yellow line metro (L4) from “Urquinaona” to “Ciutadella – Vila Olímpica” + 5min walking (or take the bus 59 at the beginning of “Las Ramblas” until “Hospital del Mar”).
Timetable: From Airport to Pl.Catalunya, first bus departs at 06:00h and last one, at 01:00h. From Pl.Catalunya to Airport, first bus departs at 05:30h and last one, at 00:30h. The journey takes 20-25 minutes. There is a bus every 5-10 minutes.
· Train - Renfe (train El Prat Airport – Barcelona)
The station is located to the West of the terminal 2 (shuttles from T1 to T2 are available at no cost every 10 minutes). All trains from airport go to "Passeig de Gràcia" Station. From there you can take the yellow line metro (L4) from “Passeig de Gràcia” to “Ciutadella – Vila Olímpica” + 5min walking.
First train from Airport to Barcelona Sants departs at 05:42h and the last one, at 23:38h. First train from Barcelona Sants to Airport departs at 05:13h and the last one, at 23:14h. The journey from Passeig de Gràcia to Airport and viceversa takes 30min. There is a train every 30 minutes.

· Barcelona Bus (bus Girona Airport – Barcelona):
Special service signposted at the stop outside the terminal. It takes you to Estació del Nord in Barcelona (price: 12,00€). Then you’ll have to take the tramway from “Marina” to “Ciutadella – Vila Olímpica” + 5min walking (or take the bus 10 near the tram station “Marina”). Check the timetable online. You can buy the ticket at the airport (Barcelona Bus booth) or online.

PD: Important (even if it can be difficult to admit this fact) – Beware of pickpockets and robbers: Beautiful and cosmopolitan, Barcelona is one of the most visited cities in the world, with low rates of crime and delinquency. However during the last months, rates of pick pocketing and robbery (suitcases, purses, wallets, laptops..) have surprisingly increased. We strongly recommend you to be vigilant. As soon as you arrive in Barcelona, please check on your belongings while you wait for your luggage or the Aerobus, train or taxicab. Beware that nobody is standing next to you while waiting or walking on the streets mainly downtown. The new fashion is that burglars tend to dress like tourists to delude real ones. Do avoid looking at maps while you walk down the streets, don't wear eye-catching jewellery or watches.
