Please, remember that on the 14th of November we
will be having the Barcelona Evo-Devo meeting
(this time at the Universitat de Barcelona).
If you look at our previous message you will see
that in the program there will be three short
talks by volunteers. We are hoping to have a long
list of candidates, so we can select three
(covering different aspects of the field).
We are going to select these talks during the
next week. Don't be afraid of participating. Send
us a putative title and a couple of sentences
describing your work. It will be a relaxed
meeting, and a lot of fun.

Hi, it's me again!
As many of you have pointed out, nobody is going to be at work on Oct 31, since it's puente-Monday before All Saints. We don't know that holiday in the protestant parts of Switzerland, so I had totally forgotten about that. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the Barcelona EvoDevo Meeting yet again to
Mon, Nov 14.
Although on that day we celebrate (according to Wikipedia) the Day of the Colombian Woman (sounds exciting!), as well as World Diabetes Day (I'm less thrilled), I hope that many of you will be able to attend.
As mentioned previously (twice already actually), the meeting will be held at the Department of Genetics of the UB.

Dear Evo-Deviants,
A quick email to announce that the BcnEvoDevo email list has been resurrected, after a prolonged absence due to our CRG server crash back in April. I'm sure you all missed it! ;-P
Please submit seminar announcements, job ads, or any other thing that may be of interest to the local evo-devo community!!! This list has been severely underused so far.
And finally, please mark Oct 3 in your diary. It is the date for the next of our BcnEvoDevo meetings. It will consist of a number of afternoon seminars (hopefully mainly by postdocs and grad students), and will take place at the UB this time. Thank you to Pere Martinez for organizing!
